Our Story

 

The idea for WeMix started years before the company was ever created.

Our founder experienced the same challenge over and over again at parties, gatherings, and social events: deciding what music to play, managing song requests, and keeping everyone engaged without turning one person into the permanent DJ.

What seemed like a small inconvenience revealed a larger problem. Music has the power to bring people together, yet the experience of managing it in group settings often creates friction instead of connection.
 
When discussing the concept with his sons, Diego and Roco, something became clear: the same challenges that existed years ago were still present in their generation. Different playlists, different platforms, different technologies, but the same underlying problem.

Their feedback, perspectives, and ideas helped shape the vision of what WeMix could become: a platform designed for the way people gather, celebrate, and share music today.

WeMix was created to make music more collaborative, social, and fun. By giving everyone a voice in the soundtrack of an event, WeMix helps turn music from a source of conflict into a shared experience.

What began as a simple observation evolved into a mission: To make every gathering better through music.
